In 2025 Audi Australia will welcome a wealth of new and upgraded models to Australian shores, spanning the entire range of Audi’s offerings – from the compact dimensions of the Audi A1, right through to the large, luxurious RS Q8 SUV and an impressive array in between. From all-electric offerings (BEV) to plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV), refined TFSI and TDI powerplants, with sports S and RS variants in both electric and combustion guise to thrill the most discerning performance enthusiast key to the mix – it is a veritable smorgasbord of automotive excellence for Audi customers to choose from.

The arrival of the all-electric Audi Q4 and Q6 e-tron models has been eagerly anticipated for some time, the Q4 in both SUV and Sportback form already in the country, with the Q6 and SQ6 e-trons in SUV guise following close behind.

Respectively, these two models represent a compact luxury all-electric vehicle from Audi and a completely new, mid-sized model in the Q6 e-trons – the first to utilise the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform which will form the basis of many new BEV models to come.

Also completely new are the A6 e-tron models which should arrive Down Under around the middle of the year. These all-new models feature electric drive in both a Sportback and Avant guise and will also feature performance ’S’ variants to the mix, giving EV customers even greater choice than ever before.

Once again topping the electric range will be the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GTs, vehicles already familiar to Australian customers since their introduction in 2021, but subsequently upgraded and refined to deliver even greater performance and handling.

The first half of the year will also see the arrival of the all-new Audi A5  and S5 models, this time a Sedan and Avant offering that effectively combines the former Audi A4 and A5 models in a completely new, combustion model range.

Indeed the combustion ranks are also well represented this year, with the updated A1 40 TFSI touching down in the first half of the year along with the updated Q2 ‘urban’ SUV.

Certainly one of the most eagerly awaited arrivals will undoubtedly be the updated Audi A3 range due early in the year. From the new A3 models right through the S3 and range-topping RS 3 variants – all available as both Sedan and Sportback – these tremendously successful vehicles effectively created the compact luxury class and continue to set the standard in their respective segments.

Increasing in size and jumping to the Q ranks, the arrival of the upgraded Q7 and Q8 models is imminent, bringing new TFSI and TDI power to these perennial favourites, including the latest iteration of the Q8 60 TFSI e PHEV. The entry level Q7 45 TFSI will follow these updates later in the year – but still expected in the first half of 2025.

Also arriving in the first half of the year is the latest iteration of the RS Q8, the pinnacle of the Q8 range and a vehicle that once again sets the standard for large, performance SUVs.

In the third quarter of the year, another celebrated Audi SUV model, the new Q5 will make its Australian debut, looking to build on the tremendous success of the previous two generations which effectively created the mid-sized luxury SUV segment. This will be followed at the end of the year by the Q5 Sportback, wrapping up what is by any measure, an extensive new offering.

A disparate group of vehicles in many respects, they nevertheless all share the distinctive Audi DNA, blending excellence in design, engineering and performance. Regardless of your automotive preference, 2025 is shaping up to be a
